You only need four ingredients for this easy lemon glaze recipe! It’s bright and sharp, with a crackly finish, perfect for topping your bars, cakes, cookies, and more.

  • Mixing Bowls
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Fine Mesh Sieve

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Add your melted butter and salt to a bowl. Then sift in your powdered sugar and whisk to combine (it will be thick!)
  • Add in your lemon juice and whisk until smooth
  • Pour your glaze over your cakes, bars, or cookies, spreading into an even layer
  • If desired, sprinkle with lemon zest while the glaze is wet. Then leave the glaze to set for at least 35 minutes before serving!
